In Brazil, most of all the produced sewage are released in the watershed surface water (rivers, lakes and ponds ), including the sewage passing through a treatment that , in the absolute majority of the time is incomplete because the level of treatment is secondary. Removal of fecal coliform and chemicals and heavy metals is poorly installed on public treatments.

Therefore , we invest in an ecological treatment system called Wet Lands, using the filtering properties of the soil and plants for the treatment of effluents. The Wet Lands is a widely used tecnology in USA and Europe, and consists of passing the sewage through multiple layers of filtering through different particle sizes of rocks and soil until it rises to the root zone itself. The sewage water is treated up to 99 % and come out of directly from this system to a small lake with aquatic plants that cleans all other effluents. Besides being environmentally friendly and more efficient than conventional systems , the Root Zone allows you to take advantage of landscaping designed in the courtyard.

A maioria dos resíduos líquidos ou esgotos produzidos são lançados nos mananciais de águas superficiais (rios, lagos e lagoas), incluindo os esgotos que passam por algum tratamento que, no Brasil, na absoluta maioria das vezes é incompleto, pois o nível de tratamento é secundário. A Zona de Raízes consiste em várias camadas de filtragem através de granulações diferentes de pedras e solo até que o esgoto sobre para zona de raízes propriamente dita. A água dos esgotos é tratada até 99% e sai desse sistema diratamente para um pequeno lago com plantas aquaticas que limpa todo restante dos efluentes. Além de ser ecológico e mais eficiente que os sistemas convencionais, a Zona de Raízes permite tirar partido do paisagismo projetado no pátio.
